i voted aroud 5 times for this and i am happy that my votes didnt go to waste.

I would want to thank tere too for our new class blogskin. we will have our picture in it ( well to be honest i dont want to look at my own face in it, seriously. ) but i guess to have our class picture as the material of our new class blogskin will be alot better, so it will give our class blog more character, to represent our class.

2008 is coming and we will meet each other again as sec2s. we'll have to be a senior! but what more important is to see the one-year-older 1e1 again, although personally i dislike some of my classmates, they are still part of the class and no matter how much we hate him or her we should respect them, for example, stop saying bad words to call them.

School ended already, and I'd really wish to thank each and everyone of you for being there. 1E1 is truely the weirdest, yet most spunkiest and fun class I've been to. :D
Although we'll be in the same class next year, I still have to say buh-bye to so many people. :(

Dear 1E1:

One school year has passed and you guys will be Sec 2s in a few months time. Next year is crucial as it is the time when your streaming to Sec 3 will be decided and there is still room for improvement as far as your studies are concerned. Please remember, even as you play and entertain yourselves, that you are first and foremost a student. Your main duty is to excel well in your studies so that in the future you can create a good life for yourself and the people you care about.

It was great being with you guys. This class is a noisy and energetic bunch. Many of you occasionally behaved childishly, which I sometimes find exasperating. But then you are all young and growing up takes time. On the whole, 1E1 has been a joy to teach and interact with! Thank you everyone :)

1. We tried to compete who could build the biggest sandcastle but the sand was sloppy and it was hard to make even a small one.

Here are the answers to the Editing Exercise worksheet 1.

1. My trip to Pulau Ubin began with a bus ride from Bukit Batok to Changi Village, there, we enjoyed a meal of nasi lemak which tasted great.

2. When we reached the island, we strolled through the village, and there were many bicycle shops.
After a short 15 minute boat ride, we reached the island. As we took as stroll, walking along the pathway on the quiet island, we saw many bicycle shops.

3. While we were walking, there was a stall of coconut, where we had a cold drink.
As we were walking, we saw a stall selling coconuts. We took a break and had a cold refreshing coconut each.

4. As the map was just a little hard to decipher, we found ourselves a little lost and had to ask a person for directions.

5. Then we started panting our lungs out, we thought it would be a good idea to stop.

6. It is almost the end of term 3 school holidays and I still haven’t decided where to go out so that I can enjoy with my family before the start of end of year exams.
The long school holidays were coming and I still have not decided where to go. I wanted to have a good time with my family before starting the school year again.

7. I was very enthusiastic of going there as I can see whether they had upgraded Sentosa Island or not.
I really wanted to go to Sentosa Island as I have heard from many friends that the new Sentosa is really very fun. I really wanted to see how Sentosa has changed.

8. All of our troubles had seemed to disappear when suddenly, my brothers fell ill from a mysterious aliment.
All of our troubles seemed to have disappeared. Suddenly, one of my brothers fell seriously ill. We sent him to the doctor but even the doctor was not able to tell us the reason.

But I have to admit, O.o I think I got all of them wrong LOL.
Anyway thank you mdm wong for the answers :D

Went to Chinese Garden this morning, but the garden was closed.
lol. waste time.
It was drizzling, and hot at the same time, so I get so exhausted.
Took 154 to Clementi. and wait there until 3.45, then took 189 to Bukit Batok.
(LOL. why am I talking about bus trip? o.O)
and finally when i reached the Interchange, Jia messaged me that she's already waiting at the cinema, so went up, and help somin, bank and tere buy ticket (:
when all of us reached, we went to buy popcorn. long queueeeeee.
The movie we watched, which is RATATOUILLE, was nice and funny (:
No wonder it was rated 5 stars. But well, if they said it is the best Disney movie, i don't think so.
There are lots of movies which are nicer, but well. RATATOUILLE is nice too!

Desiree has been asking who wants to go with her next sunday. maybe watching movie or shopping. So if you want to go, tell her (:

In the library now, waiting for my mum to come.
Term 3 has ended, and teachers day celebration has ended too.

He and his dad decided to train Albert. They used techniques that work for other animals like dogs and killer whales.

"We wanted to show that fish can be interesting pets, not just decorations," said Kyle's father, Dean Pomerleau.

The Pomerleaus bought a "finger soccer" kit from a dollar store and put weights on the tiny net and ball so they would sink to the bottom of the tank.

First Albert earned a food reward every time he swam toward the net. This training technique is called positive reinforcement. The fish likes the treat, so it learns to repeat the action to get additional treats.

Once Albert learned to go toward the net, Kyle and his dad added a new step—ball handling. Eventually Albert learned to push a ball into a goal.

The trainer learns patience and persistence, the father-son team says. It may take five or six training sessions a day for three weeks to teach a fish to swim through a hoop. Just like kids, individual fish learn at different speeds!

The Pomerleaus set up a Web site so other people could see how much fun they were having with their fish project. They heard from so many people who wanted to train their pet fish that the Pomerleaus started Fish School, a small business that sells fish-training manuals and kits.

Dear class:

Yesterday was the last day of Term 2 and marks the end of the first half of the school year. During the Assembly, Neha and Pebbles went onstage to receive the "Most Respectful Yusoffian" and "Most Responsible Yusoffian" awards respectively. Congratulations to the two of them!

Class, I know during the holidays, studies will most probably be the last thing on your minds. But please remember that you are first and foremost a student. Don't let your minds turn rusty from too much play! If you can, read up your textbooks every now and then. Or you can read more books, newspapers and magazines to keep your brains sharp and knowledgeable.

Have a good holiday! If you need help on anything, you can always contact the school or myself directly.

HELLO! :)
I hope y'all really scored the marks you want for your MYE, if not well, don't be all upset about it or anything. tell yourself there's still a SA2, and you can do much better for it. Grats to Neha who scored the 1st in class for a few subjects already, and highest in express class for physics if I'm not wrong, with 98. :D

hmm, break a leg for the band performers and dancers for tomorrow's thingy with the PM Lee. Remember to be there in school by 8 am. The whole thing should end by around 11am+, for the sec 1 and 2 who are going there to support & cheer.

The banners around my house says that there are free ice creams, kachang puteh, candy floss and one more, but however I don't remember LOL paiseh. I'm not sure if you can get those free stuffs through coupons or what, but yeah that's what the banner said, and there's going to be an Illusionist / Magic show on that day too, according to the banner, again.

For school, remember to sign all your exam papers.
People who still owe the Physics file, remember to bring by Monday. I don't really remember the exact days you have to bring the certain files :X but remember to get your Maths, History, Geography properly filed, which is what I remember currently paiseh. I think Literature also. o_o. SORRY SORRY XD

Mr Patrick Tan and I have selected the two of you for the sCene 3 - National New Media Arts Camp 2007. During the camp, students will be exposed to digital filmmaking, digital broadcasting and music design, website and graphic designs, animation, digital photography. The two of you be dealing with website and graphic designs.
