Dear class:
I was extremely disappointed with the class today. Perhaps some of you felt that it was unfair for me to have been so upset. But it was the accumulated result of many factors, I guess. As the exams draw nearer, every lesson becomes very important and I just felt that many in the class were not very serious (this is something I've observed over a few lessons and not just today). And the last straw came when I was trying to explain a very important point and got repeatedly interrupted over what I thought was a minor spelling mistake that was certainly not as important as the point I was trying to make.
We teachers are here to give you knowledge and it really is very upsetting when we try so hard to do that and this is not appreciated.
Whatever the case, what's done is done. There are three lessons left to the Mid Year Exam and I really hope we can make the best of them. There is so much potential in the class and I think all of you can do very well in your studies, so long as we keep working hard at teaching (for me) and learning (from you guys).
Let us start again on a clean slate when we meet in class next week.
