o.O... haha happy early birthday to those people! (: I forgot to post loads of stuffs earlier on x_x. Forgot to tell 1E1 people, incase they forget, that today there's a maths remedial on geometry. ahem, I learnt the importance of bringing the geometry set.
=.= don't really get about the geometry drawing very much. Maths 1E1: People with 'see me' in their maths worksheets, meet Miss Poh on Friday in Science Room 5 at 12.30. Bring all the worksheets handed out. Do your Geo worksheet.
okay, today's chinese was really difficult LOL. I can only say, MANY GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YA!specially dear jason and emily! maths exam is next. x___x, really hope y'all can do real well for this! and followed by history, science, geography, literature, so on so forth :D I think I'll be attending both history remedials x.x

Dear class:
Due to unforseen circumstances, the History remedial that was supposed to have been on Wednesday will be postponed to this coming Friday (May 4). It will be held at 3pm at the AVA room for students from 1E1, 1E2 and 1E3. The reason for the timing is to accomodate the Muslim boys who have to go for their Friday prayers. Since the timing is rather late, I will not make the remedial compulsory. But those who are interested in doing well for the History exam may come.
Also, there is a remedial class for the NA students of 1N1 and 1N2 that are taught by me on Thursday (May 3) from 2:30-3:30pm. Express students are welcome to attend as the NA and History syllabus is very similar. The NA remedial will be held at the Humanities at SLC.
For History, you will be tested from Chapters 1 to 5 of your textbook.
I will notify the classes in school (since not everyone reads this blog) about the new remedial timing. I will also return all the workbooks and worksheets, latest by Friday. In the meantime, do study hard for all your subjects and I hope everyone will do well! :)

Dear class:
I was extremely disappointed with the class today. Perhaps some of you felt that it was unfair for me to have been so upset. But it was the accumulated result of many factors, I guess. As the exams draw nearer, every lesson becomes very important and I just felt that many in the class were not very serious (this is something I've observed over a few lessons and not just today). And the last straw came when I was trying to explain a very important point and got repeatedly interrupted over what I thought was a minor spelling mistake that was certainly not as important as the point I was trying to make.
We teachers are here to give you knowledge and it really is very upsetting when we try so hard to do that and this is not appreciated.
Whatever the case, what's done is done. There are three lessons left to the Mid Year Exam and I really hope we can make the best of them. There is so much potential in the class and I think all of you can do very well in your studies, so long as we keep working hard at teaching (for me) and learning (from you guys).
Let us start again on a clean slate when we meet in class next week.

hahaha (: I got a picture of cherly(1)'s dish and my(2) dish. Cherly's one really is well done right? hahaha, she's really smart to have put the tomato paste on the salary and the rice! omg looks so inviting XDXD humdeedum, CONGRATS INDEED, to Xinying, Huiyu, Meihwa & Ling ying! :D:D darling xinying, if people looks at your face to see whether you are on what stream, that is pathetically bull. Just by judging someone by only their faces can tell alot. You don't know whether they are nice inside, or not.
Don't let that criticism get to you xin ying, no matter how you look, as long as in your heart you're a one-E-one, don't care about what others say. don't even care about the streams to be frank really, what's the difference between 1E1 to 1T2, actually? Is it just the education? Perhaps the attitude can sometimes be quite more wild, but we're still all humans, don't need to judge yourself that way xinying, cheer up okie? (:

There is a story that goes something like this:
There was a man and his son who went on a long journey with a donkey. At first, the man allowed his son to ride the donkey. Along the way, they saw some people from a village. These people saw the boy riding on the donkey and said loudly: "Look at the unfilal boy. He can ride that donkey while allowing his father to walk!"
The father and son became embarassed and they switched places. Now, the father rode on the donkey while the boy walked. Then they met some people from another villgae and these people remarked upon seeing them: "Look at this unkind father. He lets son walk while he comfortably rides the donkey!"
The father and son decided that they would both walk. Then they chanced upon some folks from yet another village and when they saw the father and son walking alongside their donkey, they laughed and said: "See how foolish they are! They have a donkey and yet they are walking."
The moral of this story is this. No matter what you do, they will always be someone out there who will criticize or make unkind remarks about you. If you let them affect you, then you'll just be like the father and son who were always allowing the remarks of others to influence their lives. Think about this carefully.

YAYE MUCH:D to dear Karthik for his great performance during the English speech! hum, sadly, shukri, kevin, fathih and me could only hear him saying "see what see" and onwards, haha. It's good to get 3rd place no matter, (: pretty high already, since competing between sec 2s too.

today is quite a tiring day, PE LESSON---RUGBY. so hard to play! that does not look like ball at all, it looks exactly like ALMOND! english lesson-- recess--play basketball for a while maths period--went to study corner,Mr.Adam called all the boys to go to the study corner at the 2nd level. LOL--too bad for them.
literature-- we did group work biology---PRACTICAL TEST!!! ugh..missed 2 questions..too bad!!
after sch,we are playing basketball,many of us. so sad jiajia must go off earlier.. when we r playing..MS.Teh called us,said that we must go for the chemistry enrichment--sooooooooooooooo surprised!! we are all the 1e1 ppl left. me-tere-samuel-kevin-jason-wei ming-khartik-fathih and vaishu.
hahas after bbal training we play our own ABC game TERE ROCKS!!! as well as MR.Lee and jason and fathih they rocks!!!

HOWDY HOWDY :D thank you desiree! very much for representing the 4 x 400 girls in taking our prizes, and thank you! 1E1, for letting us clinching the place of SECOND in the best sports class for sports day! :D we only lost by 5 points, no beggie! Definitely will do better next year, right? ;)
O.o Mr Lee picked shahir, kevin, shereen and me to be this relay system leader or something, means Mr Lee would be calling the 4 of us first, tell us what we are suppose to tell the rest, and once that message is done, we will be calling the 8 people on the list on which we have been given to spread the news. Our classmate's tel. has been seperated by 4, 8 each.
For me currently, Mr Lee wants me to ask So Min and Shukri for their house numbers, and for those who also have only given HP no.s instead of tel.s, remember to inform your respective leader XD
For hw today! Norm chinese, we have to do a composition, on what we have learnt about composition in chinese class, & remember also the 'xiao bao zi' thingo! (: Physics, pg 21 and 22, question 3, 4, 5 for measuring, and 23 to complete the table!
Heh. Tomorrow remember to wear your uniform, & also yer tie! maha. BEFORE I FORGET: Remember to bring the exact change for the photos tomorrow! c'yall than. toodles.
The above is a picture taken of a sample provided by the school. It shows how the name tag should be ironed onto the formal uniform. There is no need to do so for the polo shirt and I'm sorry for the earlier mistaken announcment.
As for the photo money, I will collect it on Tuesday (April 3). Please make sure you all have the money prepared on that day as April 4 will be E-Learning day, which means there's no school, and April 5 is the day the photographer comes. Try to give me exact change, ok? :)
